High pile hand knotted rugs, crafted like they do under the Marrakesh sky. Plush and soft texture for the space that deserves nothing less.
Interior designer or architect?
The process of hand tufting is relatively new in the history of rug making. It involves the use of a mechanised tool called the tufting gun, to punch fibres into the base fabric of the rug. Since this process doesn’t involve a traditional loom, hand tufted rugs can incorporate a variety of shapes and more complex designs, like curves, with ease.
Made in India to order
Spacewarp rugs are made in India by artisans who use their traditional handcrafting expertise to create modern hand-tufted rugs that are perfect for contemporary spaces. All our rugs are made to order, meaning every piece is freshly made, to a precise size that suits your floor plan. Besides hand tufted carpets, you can also find hand knotted, Moroccan and flatweave rugs in our collection, made from wool, jute, cotton, viscose and other materials.
Spacewarp also functions as a rug design studio, collaborating with interior designers and architects to design custom rugs for different areas — like a living room, lounge, bedroom, conference room or dining room — as part of both residential and commercial projects. We can also work with specific materials to create custom handmade pieces to go with the rest of your aesthetic. If you are in the early stages of planning the interiors for a client, we’d love to collaborate with you and handle the rug aspect of the project, from design to creation.
