Handknotting
Hand knotting is one of the more traditional ways of making a rug where it is handmade using a special loom. It generally uses natural fibres like wool or cotton, and produces very intricate designs (the rule of thumb being the more complex the pattern, the denser the knotting). This process requires a high level of skill and expertise, and because of this, hand knotted carpets can take a while to be produced.

MadeinIndiatoorder
Designed for contemporary spaces, Spacewarp's modern hand-knotted rugs are made in India by artisans with decades of traditional rug making expertise. All our rugs are made to order, so your rug gets made to the specific dimensions of your room, and only once you have placed your order. Besides hand knotted carpets, you can also find hand tufted, flatweave and Moroccan rugs in our collection, crafted from materials like wool, jute, cotton and viscose.
