Crafted by generational weavers using the timeless rug-making craft, for spaces that demand unparalleled quality.
High pile hand knotted rugs, crafted like they do under the Marrakesh sky. Plush and soft texture for the space that deserves nothing less.
Hand knotting is one of the more traditional ways of making a rug where it is handmade using a special loom. It generally uses natural fibres like wool or cotton, and produces very intricate designs (the rule of thumb being the more complex the pattern, the denser the knotting). This process requires a high level of skill and expertise, and because of this, hand knotted carpets can take a while to be produced.
Designed for contemporary spaces, Spacewarp’s modern hand-knotted rugs are made in India by artisans with decades of traditional rug making expertise. All our rugs are made to order, so your rug gets made to the specific dimensions of your room, and only once you have placed your order. Besides hand knotted carpets, you can also find hand tufted, flatweave and Moroccan rugs in our collection, crafted from materials like wool, jute, cotton and viscose.
Spacewarp is also a rug design studio. We love collaborating with interior designers and architects to design custom rugs for different spaces — like a living room, lounge, bedroom, conference room or dining room — as part of both residential and commercial projects. We can also work with specific materials to create custom handmade pieces to go with the rest of your aesthetic. If you are in the early stages of planning the interiors for a client, we’d love to discuss your project and give inputs on the floor aspect of the project.
